According to city statistics, the city’s busiest industries are entertainment, aerospace, import/export and tourism. Thought the area experienced some economic fall-off due to the state gov-ernment’s enormous debt following the Gov. Gray Davis Administration, the sheer size and financial power of Los Angeles means there are jobs to be had.
However, a word of warning -- the cost of living means you better come out to LA with a job in hand or a couple weeks of revenue saved up to support yourself while you search for work.
